DIMORA
Dimora Arts Foundation, Inc. serves the public through compassionate, ethical, and evidence-informed charitable work that advances the arts, expands creative and educational opportunity, strengthens communities, encourages creativity, and promotes human dignity.
The word dimora means home or dwelling. The idea behind Dimora began with a simple question: What would happen if artists had a place where they could not only make work, but also live, learn, teach, and share ideas with one another? We imagine Dimora as a home for creative exchange — a place where visiting artists can enter into meaningful relationships with the places and communities they encounter, and where art can become part of everyday life. Our work begins in Puerto Rico, with a vision that can grow beyond it.
